Abstract

Abstract

In that paper novel Ni(II) complex, derived from salemo-based ,Nickel(II) complex was synthesized, and characterized by elementary analysis, infrared spectroscopy, ultraviolet-visible absorption spectroscopy, single-crystal diffraction and Hirshfeld surface analyses. for detecting S2 and had a strong chemical fluorescence response. Via spectral analysis, S2 could be detected with high sensitivity and selectivity in the presence of different anions and used with the naked eye to detect S2. The solution colour was converted from colourless to bright yellow by the addition of S2 fibre. UV absorption, fluorescence and other methods of characterization were performed and the action mechanism was developed. I also visually inspected H2S gas, and the Ni(II) complex was able to detect S2 in gas molecules and show its possible use in biology and medicine.
